1 rechargeable battery (AAA 1.2V) that stores energy from the sun is included. The battery can be replaced and lasts for about 2 years.
Position the solar panel to maximize its exposure to sunlight.
Recharging time is 9-12 hours in sunlight, but over 12 hours on a cloudy day.
